On the morning of December 4, President Xi Jinping held talks at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing with French President Macron, who was in China for a state visit.

12月4日上午，国家主席习近平在北京人民大会堂同来华进行国事访问的法国总统马克龙举行会谈。

Xi Jinping pointed out that China supports all efforts conducive to peace and will continue to play a constructive role in the political settlement of the crisis in its own way. China supports European countries in playing their due role in promoting the construction of a balanced, effective and sustainable European security architecture.

习近平指出，中方支持一切有利于和平的努力，将继续以自己的方式为危机政治解决发挥建设性作用。中方支持欧洲国家发挥应有作用，推动构建均衡、有效、可持续的欧洲安全架构。

On December 5, President Xi Jinping held friendly exchanges with French President Macron in Dujiangyan, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province.

12月5日，国家主席习近平在四川省成都市都江堰同法国总统马克龙进行友好交流。

During this visit, China and France issued joint statements on strengthening global governance, joint response to global climate and environmental challenges, continuous promotion of cooperation in peaceful use of nuclear energy, exchanges and cooperation in agriculture and food, and the situations in Ukraine and Palestine.

访问期间，双方就加强全球治理、合作应对全球气候和环境挑战、持续推进和平利用核能领域合作、农业和食品交流与合作、乌克兰局势和巴勒斯坦局势发表了联合声明。

On December 16, President Xi Jinping met in Zhongnanhai with the Chief Executive of the Macau Special Administrative Region, Sam Ho Fai, who came to Beijing to report on his work.

12月16日，国家主席习近平在中南海会见来京述职的澳门特别行政区行政长官岑浩辉。

Xi Jinping pointed out that the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China made a strategic outline for the country’s economic and social development during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, emphasizing the need to unswervingly implement the policies of "one country, two systems", "Macao people governing Macao" and a high degree of autonomy to promote Macao's long-term prosperity and stability.

习近平指出，中国共产党二十届四中全会对“十五五”时期国家经济社会发展作出战略擘画，强调要坚定不移贯彻“一国两制”、“澳人治澳”、高度自治方针，促进澳门长期繁荣稳定。
